This Privacy Policy explains how Amitra Beauty LLC ("Amitra," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit amitrabeauty.com or our store at shop.amitrabeauty.com, buy from us, or join our email list.
The short version
- We collect what we need to sell and ship your order and, if you ask, to email you.
- We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
- amitrabeauty.com does not use advertising pixels, analytics trackers, session recording, or chat tools.
- You can ask us to show, correct, or delete your information at any time.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Email signup: your first name and email address and, if you choose, your last name.
- Orders and subscriptions: name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number if you provide one, order history, and subscription preferences.
- Payment: card payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Messages: anything you send us by email.
Information collected automatically
- Hosting logs: our host, Netlify, records your IP address, browser type, and pages requested to keep the site secure and running.
- Store cookies: our Shopify store uses cookies that are needed for the cart, checkout, and your account. Any optional cookies in the store are controlled by the store's cookie banner.
- Fonts: our typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads.
How we use it
- To process, ship, and support your orders and Ritual Refill subscription, including renewal reminders and receipts.
- To send marketing emails you signed up for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To answer your questions and handle returns.
- To keep our site and store secure, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who work for us under contract, and only as needed:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Your privacy choices
We do not sell or share your personal information. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first, ask for your consent before setting any advertising cookies, and give you a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" choice.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information.
Do Not Track. We do not track you across other websites, so our practices are the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Your rights. Wherever you live in the United States, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your information, except what we must keep for orders, taxes, or the law;
- stop sending you marketing email.
Email support@amitrabeauty.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We will confirm your identity by matching your email and order details, and we respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent with your written permission. We will never treat you differently for using these rights.
California "Shine the Light." We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually seven years. We keep email list information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Hosting logs are kept for a short period by Netlify.
Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections, and limited access to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us right away if you believe your information has been misused.
Children
Our site and products are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes here and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will tell customers by email.
